Instrument Blockages/Hardware Malfunctions
- Remember to dispose of your gloves in the autoclave bin near the door.
- Make sure that you remove everything you brought with you – laptops / note books /ice buckets /Gilson Pipettes/ test tube racks.
- Wipe down the bench and keyboard, FACSRinse /FACSClean/ Water bottles with IMS.
- Remember to press Restart on the wet cart.
- Replace the waste tank, decontaminate your waste, and replace the sheath cubitaner if necessary.
- Make sure all waste tubes/nitex landed in the autoclave bin and that all tips landed in the disposafe jar.
- IMS will be provided in non spray wash bottles to limit moving aerosols around the lab
- We strongly recommend cleaning the bench on arrival as a fail safe.
- All users should put on new nitrile gloves on entering the Facility.
- Make sure you put on a face covering before entering the lab if you are not already wearing one.
- This means that there will be sufficient space to store buffers /waste tanks /Blue Roll/Cleaning reagents –everything you could reasonably need within your working space.įlow Core Staff will clean the lab first thing, and instruments post QC, before handing over to users.
